FAQ/Policy

How far in advance can I schedule my picnic?

You can schedule a picnic as far in advance as you would like. 

How do the payments work?

Once a package has been selected, date/times have been requested, and add-ons have been chosen, clients will have the option to either submit a 50% non-refundable deposit or pay the full booking cost in which 50% will be refunded if a change is needed. Any remaining balance must be paid in full 3 days prior to your scheduled picnic.

What payment options do you offer?

We only offer transactions with Debit or Credit cards via our payment processor or Zelle.  No other forms of payment will be accepted.

Can I book a picnic within the 10-day grace period?

Yes, it is possible to book a rushed picnic if  the time and date requested are available! However, this is a case by case basis. All rushed picnics location are the clients responsibility: some places require permits that must be obtained by the client. We cannot guarantee services at a Public park or some beaches due to special permit requirements. If you wish to book a Rush Picnic please give us a call at (954) 225-5141.

Can I make changes to my picnic after booking?

Changes to add-ons, guest counts must be made 2 days prior to the scheduled picnic.  

Can I leave my picnic unattended?

We ask that all picnic guests reframe from leaving Luxury Picnic set-ups unattended to prevent any theft or damages. Guests are fully responsible for all picnic equipment throughout their scheduled booking

Can I leave my Picnic early?

If you wish to leave your picnic earlier than scheduled, please contact us prior to your departure so our staff may return to pack up your picnic. During this time we ask that guests wait until a staff member arrives prior to guests deciding to make their final departure. 

Can I bring my own food?

Yes, of course, you can! 

Do you provide any food or drinks? 

 All packages come with complimentary bottles of water. You have the option to add charcuterie boxes as an add-on to your picnic. Charcuterie box are made fresh each day and offer a wide range of quality cheeses, fresh fruits, fine meats, and more. 

Do I need to clean up? 

No, please don’t! All we ask is that you show up, relax, and enjoy the moment. Leave the rest up to us at the end of your picnic.

What happens if the weather is bad on my scheduled picnic appointment?

We know that weather can be very unpredictable however Luxury Picnics cannot control any weather issues that may arise. Always be prepared to plan according to any weather issues such as humidity, rainfall, strong winds, or any cold and hot temperatures.  If it so happens that on the day of your scheduled picnic, the weather has become unsuitable for the event then it will be rescheduled.

If you wish to proceed with a cancellation, a full refund will be processed towards your second payment since the initial 50% down payment is non-refundable.  But, if you still want to hold your picnic despite the weather, we do offer indoor setups as well. At this time we do not have any indoor locations to offer, so any locations must be provided by the client. Please be mindful and prepared for any possible weather interference. 

What if I need to reschedule?

If you wish to reschedule your picnic, you are more than welcome to as long as rescheduling occurs one week prior to your scheduled picnic. Following this timeline, your date and time change will be free. However, if you are wanting to reschedule after the given grace period you will be charged an additional $20 booking fee.

What is the cancellation policy?

We do not offer refunds for any picnic once full payment has been received. Should you need to reschedule your picnic for any reason, you must do so at least one week in advance of your initial scheduled picnic date and can reschedule for a new date within a 6 month period.

Where are you located?

We are based out of Hollywood Florida and curate picnics throughout Broward County. Every picnic package price includes travel up to 25 miles from Miramar. Any greater mileage will have distance based travel fees added.

Where can I do my picnic?

We are permitted to do picnics at any Broward parks and recreation as we are a vendor with the city. You can also have your picnic at the comfort of your home.

Currently, we do not provide beach picnics as most beaches do not permit business on property due to code enforcement. If you still wish to do a picnic on the beach you have two options. One we can set up a picnic for you there BUT it would be at your own risk. Meaning if any property enforcement approaches you and ask to leave, there won't be any REFUND. (we have seen a lot of people get by with it wink wink). We ask for you to give us a call and stay with our picnic until we are able to come get our materials. Option two, you can try to call the city and ask for a special permit for that day and see if that is feasible.

All items and decor used during the picnic are property of Julienne's Vision, LLC and are to be returned in the same condition as you found it. Any lost or damaged equipment will be charged accordingly and may result in dry cleaning, professional cleaning and/or replacement charges.
